I feel as if producing a front cover, contents page and a double page spread article using "real life" programs such as InDesign, it has given me more knowledge as has also challenged me by pushing myself further into creating something which is as realistic as possible. I have learnt along the way that I can be quite indecisive, meaning that I don't know what I want, then when I think it is right, I will change my mind again - due to me sometimes being doubtful.
One other thing which I have learnt about myself throughout this year is that I like simple things - and not things which looked crammed together. I also like everything to look modern because I wanted the text to be "quirky" and I also like the layout to only include a few images (which I realize can knock my grade as it may not be sticking to the original codes and conventions of a magazine).
I have thoroughly enjoyed this task of creating a music magazine in the style of real, on the shelves music magazines such as "Q" and "NME" as I have experienced a little bit of what it can be like to work for a real magazine company as our school has given us many opportunities due to the facilities provided.
